It All Went Great

The rest of the nights for the play went great and the party was even better. One would think that after a musical was over, no one would want to sing anymore. Well that is a false assumption because we just kept singing. Another fun thing that we did at the party was play Star Tripping. You look up at the sky when it's dark outside, you spin around while you are looking at the sky, then another person with a flashlight will tell you to stop and look at them. When you do stop and look at them, they will flash the flashlight in your face and you fall down. When you start to get back up, they flash the flashlight in you face again and you fall back down. It is a fun game, but it's also dangerous. When someone fell, they kicked another person in the ear and that person started to fall backwards and their hair got caught on someone else's jacket zipper and then they fell down. I had so much fun playing Star Tripping, but my mom thought that it was a stupid game. I am going to do it to my siblings sometime soon because I think it would be funny to watch them fall on their butt. At the party, we also roasted marshmelllows to make smores which are the best dessert ever. Everyone had so much fun at the party and immensly enjoyed themselves. I feel like we should have more parties like that more often.

Lives are Like Movies

You have a problem, you usually try and fix it. Not me. I just sit back and watch events unfold. It's like our lives are one big movie. It's just long and it can be any kind of movie that you want it to. It can be a romantic comedy, it can be a  hopeless romantic movie, it can be a horror film, or it can be an action flick. Like I said, it can be whatever you choose. I love watching movies therefore I like making my life as dramatic as possible. But if I wanted my life to be a romantic movie, it would have the worst reviews ever because my love life sucks. I would classify my life a comedy with a little bit of drama. We all have the day to day high school drama, but then I get to go home and listen to even more drama from my siblings and then all the after school drama. And then we have my love life drama. I am too much of a wuss to even ask a guy out, but I'm confident enough to break up with them. Now if I had as much confidence with asking guys out as I did with breaking up with them, I would not be such a wuss anymore. But I love to listen to people at lunch because all they talk about is the drama that is going on at school. It's a great way to keep up with the gossip as well as keep a tab on your enemies at school. Life is like one big, long movie where we are the stars. It's our job to make the movie exciting and get the good reviews that we want. People always say that they want to be famous and star in movies, but I like telling them that they already are famous and they already are stars of their own life story. I want to be the star of my own movie and not someone else's.

Some New News

So I found a new guy that I like. You wouldn't think that he is very hot, but you need to see him with his shirt off. He's got a six pack and he is totally hot. He is a band conductor, he can dance, and he plays the violen. Not to mention, he is an amazing actor. In this year's musical, he stole the show with his wonderful singing and acting skills, and let's not forget his dashing good looks. I just hope I can get up the courage to talk to him.

YAY!

Opening night went great. I think that the only thing that went wrong was Chad's mic fell down his pants when he came out of the barrel. But other than that, everything went great. My family made it to the show which was awsome because they said that they weren't going to make it. Everything was a huge success. Now we just have to do it two more times and then it's over. That will be sad because I really do enjoy working with everyone. I have even made some new friends and that is something that is huge for me considering my last friend tried to steal my boyfriend which is one of the reasons that we broke up. But for the most part this musical has been an amazing experience.

At Last

She is finally letting me back in. She is starting to open up to me and tell me what's wrong. She trusts me again and now I can help her. This day is finally starting to go uphill and that will help take some of the stress off for tonight. With opening night being tonight, nerves are starting to kick in. I know that I just work with the sound and don't have to be in front of the audience, but I'm just scared that something might go wrong and I really don't want it to. If tonight goes well, then the next to nights will be just as good. We were actually having a problem with one of the main character's mic, so I am really hoping that everything will go smoothly.

After the show on Saturday, there is going to be a party and I'm really excited because I'm sure it's going to be amazing. Everyone from the musical will probably be there which is a good thing because I get along with pretty much everybody. They are all fun, talented, and just really great people. And Miss Rowse has put so much effort into the show as well as Miss Thompson and Mr. Gansabom. All the adults that helped were all key in making this production a success. They will all deserve a huge thanks. And the actors also put in a lot of work because they are the ones that make it happen. And let's not forget the techies of the production because without them there would be no props, sound, costumes, lights, or makeup. Everyone who is a part of the production worked really hard to make it happen. Thanks!

Negative and Positive

You know what sucks? When you want to help a friend but you know that there is absolutely nothing you can do. They completely shut you out and they won't open up to you. They really need your help, but what can you do if they won't let you in. I hope that eventually they will realize that they can still trust me and then they will let me back in to help.
You know what's great? Tonight is the opening night of the Seusical. It's the high school's musical and I'm so super excited. Nothing can be better or more scary or more exciting than an opening night. Especially when you're pretty sure that it's gonna be a full house. Break a leg!

Sad Week

This has just been a sad week  because my boyfriend just broke up with me. I thought that we had a real connection, but he doesn't feel the same way. We are just friends now and I think that I like that too. Not to mention I have been really depressed here lately and I have been having suicidal thoughts. Someone please help me.

I Am Super Bored Today

I have nothing to do today. I haven't seen the guy that I want to ask to homecoming all day. That makes me really sad. I'm hoping that he will show up later today so that I can talk to him. I will upadate later.

WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!!

We are sick of Obama's stupid health plan to get rid of childhood obesity. It obviously isn't working because if students can't get the regular pop in the vending machines at school, they will just bring it from home or if they have open campus, they will go somewhere and get it. Taking junk food out of the vending machines isn't helping students. It just makes them angry and gives them another thing to rebel against. Why does Obama have to do things that make us unhappy? Why can't he take away homework instead? If he doesn't want the regular pop in the vending machines, then we will start selling regular pop at school ourselves. Please help us in our fight against getting our regular pop back in the vending machines.
Sincerely,
Joshlyn Heffner and Ryleigh Sage

PROTEST

Me and my best friend Ryleigh are starting a protest against the pop in the vending machines. The diet and zero pop is disgusting and tasteless. If you are reading this blog, we would love to hear from you. You can add a comment on the blog letting us know what you think. All opinions will be read. The pop in the vending machines are diet and zero because of the new health plan that Obama has made. What is stupid about this plan is that the diet and zero pops are more unhealthy because it has more of the bad sugar in it. Plus the government is going to lose money because students are going to stop buying the pop in the vending machines. If you are reading this, encourage other schools who have the diet and zero pop vending machines to start a protest of their own. We need as many people as we can get. The more people that we have, the better our chances are at getting our regular pop back. Please join in our protest for regular pop in the vending machines at school.
Sincerely,
      Joshlyn Heffner and Ryleigh Sage

80's Day

I didn't do anything for 80's Day today. I just decided to sit this one out. That's okay because my favorite day is going to be Friday which is Halloween Day. I have a nice black dress that I am going to wear with a masquerade mask and my black heels.

Excited

I am super excited this week because it's Spirit Week and I always have a lot of fun. Monday is Color Day: Seniors=black, Juniors=yellow, Sophomores=green, and Freshmen=orange. Tuesday is 80's Era Day and I'm going to have my mom rat my hair although I still don't know what I am going to do for the outfit yet. Wednesday is Cowboy Day, but almost everyone is calling it Hick Day. Ryleigh is going to give me one of her cowgirl hats to wear that day. Now all I need to do is find the boots. Haha! Wish me luck. Thursday is Spirit Day because that is the day of the football game and I am praying that we will win. Friday is Halloween Day and I have a black dress with a black masquerade mask and black heels. I am trying to talk my mom into letting me get a black wig since she won't let me dye or color my hair. The theme for the dance is Hollywood so I wanted to be all dramatic. I have a dress that is maroon and sparkly. I want the black wig to add the drama to my outfit. I am going to wear my black heels with it because they are my favorite dress shoes. I am also covering the dance for the school newspaper, but my photographer won't be there so we will have to get the pictures from the yearbook teacher. I have to ask a bunch of questions to see what people think of the dance and their favorite music and dances. This will be my last homecoming since I'm a Senior so I want to make it count and I want to have a lot of fun.
This coming weekend on Sunday is my team's last soccer practice for the season. That means that this is the fun soccer practice because my parents bring a ton of junk food and we play a game of keep away by throwing the ball in the air and we play boys vs. girls and adults vs. players. It's a whole lot of fun and I can't wait for that practice, but I also don't want to have our last practice because that means that soccer season will be over soon. Playing soccer keeps me occupied instead of sitting around the house bored all the time.
My schedule is so busy this year. I am doing Book Club, Musical, One Act, Winter Play, Spring Play, AYSO Soccer, NHS Winter Soccer, Newspaper, and Yearbook. But I enjoy doing every second of it.
