I can't believe it

I can't believe they canceled Winter Royalty. To me this is like a second chance. The weather was so bad that my mom said I shouldn't go before the school even called. I was so upset, but then after we got the call, I felt better because the weather might be better and I can go. After my mom told me I couldn't go, I kind of started complaining. My mom said I shouldn't go at all because I was only being good so I could go to the dance. Hopefully she'll change her mind and still let me go. She was in a pretty good mood for the rest of the weekend so I'm hopeful.
